Peace is a wonderful, if not elusive way of being. However, as it permeates my life, my clients benefit from the gentle, engaged focus that peace allows my mind/body unit to relax into as I work with each of them. You might be thinking, what is peace? Peace is typically defined as a state of harmony characterized by the absence of hostility or conflict; however, to me it is much more than that.
Peace, to me, is the existence of healthy or newly healed interpersonal relationships both with my own mind/body unit and those with whom I am so graciously allowed to come in contact on any given day. Other elements of peace are prosperity, the establishment of equality and a working political order that serves the true interests of all.
It is by holding peace in ourselves that we influence others towards peace.
